Information we collect

We may collect account and profile information, contact details, approximate location or selected state and city, listings, posts, community and direct messages, photos you upload, authentication records, IP address, device or browser information, and reports you submit. The app does not currently collect precise GPS location, contacts, payment card data, health data, or advertising identifiers.

How we use information

We use information to operate and secure accounts, display profiles and user content, deliver messages, provide marketplace and community features, prevent fraud and abuse, respond to support requests, meet legal obligations, and improve reliability and accessibility.

Photos and messages

Photos sent in chats are compressed before storage. Community messages may be visible to other community users; direct messages are shown to conversation participants. Do not upload sensitive documents, passwords, verification codes, or content you do not have permission to share.

Sharing

We share information only as needed with other users according to the feature you choose, with service providers that host or support the platform, when required by law, to protect users and the platform, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal information.

Providers used to operate these functions may include Google for optional sign-in, Twilio for phone verification, Resend for transactional email, and infrastructure providers for hosting, databases, caching, and photo storage. They process only the data needed to provide their service.

Analytics, advertising, and device access

Kazakh USA does not currently include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs and does not sell or use personal information for cross-app tracking. The mobile app asks for photo library access only when you choose an image to upload. It does not currently request contacts, microphone, or precise location access.

Retention and security

We retain information while your account is active and as reasonably necessary for safety, dispute resolution, legal compliance, backups, and prevention of repeat abuse. We use administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can edit profile information, control what you publish, remove certain content, and request account deletion. Some records may be retained when legally required or needed for security and fraud prevention.

Children

Kazakh USA is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
